Our History
Established as Greater Minnesota Fund Raising in 1988, Greater Midwest Fund Raising is emerging as one of the leading figures in the fundraising industry. We have achieved a reputation in the industry and among our many clients for providing quality fund raising products, exceptional service, a full line of fund raising programs, and the unique ability to customize programs to our customer's specifications. Over the past 18 years, GMFR has helped over 250 groups achieve their financial goals.

In November 2001, Greater Minnesota Fund Raising was acquired by Tim Shiels and Tim Krieger and became Greater Midwest Fund Raising. Tim Shiels is a former teacher and coach who has over 20 years of experience in the school business. Along with Tim is a collective sales force with well over 100 years of fund raising experience. What once started as a fund raising company only in Minnesota, has now evolved into one which has customers all across the Midwest in states such as North Dakota, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
